The SlingShot is a V-Tail version of the ShotGun MK-II. The fuselage now has 6 ounce carbon fiber running from the landing gear and is sandwiched between the wooden firewall and the glass front end. The front end is stiff, very stiff for good power transfer. No more filling around the wooden firewall and the fuse sides. It is done for you. The nose has been shortened just a little to help get the C/G to the suggested point. and change the turning characteristics. It now comes stock with carbon landing gear that is reversible. Taper back for asphalt and taper forward for the grass fields.

The SlingShot is an all composite Q500. The SlingShot comes with a removable tail for easy transport and a two piece wings for ease of shipping and transport.
It is an AMA legal airframe available in four different colors. White, Yellow, Red and Orange. Extra multi colors painted in the mold are available for ease of customizing.

The SlingShot has a specially designed tested airfoil and is competitive with any of the Quickies that are being raced today. It has a very special lay-up on the fuselage. It has balsa laminated to the inside of the fuse. It will give the airframe the advantages of the durability of a composite fuse and the rigid power transfer of a wooden fuse. The best of both worlds. It is light and strong. The wing is also Balsa and composite lay-up.
